On October 18 Senstronics joined millions of other employers to recognise World Menopause Day and pledge our support for our female employees – and their families – and recognise the significant impact that the menopause can have on individuals, both in and out of the workplace.
Kate Hobson, HR Manager, said: “43% of our workforce is female. 59% of this group is in the age range when menopause usually occurs. Menopause is not just a gender or age issue; it’s relevant to us all and can impact employees both directly or indirectly.”
As part of our commitment to recognising the impact of the menopause and supporting employees through this significant period of change, the Senior Leadership Team has completed a training session to further understand the topic. As an outcome of the session we will continue to work to ensure that the subject is one that can be discussed openly, and that individuals have access to the appropriate support.
Whilst we will use World Menopause Day as an opportunity to highlight the topic and share useful resources, we commit to the provision of ongoing support through a range of sustained activities:
